Reading the vault…

The number is the vault's balance of that stock divided by the size of one drop, rounded down. Nothing spawns that the vault cannot pay, so a signal on walk is a drop that pays. Tap any signal to see the same balance on the explorer: that is the chain talking, not us.

Read the signal.

White walker: the vault holds that stock and drops are paid. Orange hand: there is none, don't walk for it.

Read the number.

Like a crossing counting down, it is what is left: the vault's balance divided by the size of one drop, rounded down.
